It never was great, but it was decent enough and pretty powerful. Ever since getting spinning bitchfisted by Newton he's looked scared and tentative and his striking just looks sloppy as hell.

I think it was always sloppy but he lost a lot of confidence after the losses to Newton, he was also ko'd by Feijao in Strikeforce. Those types of losses change fighters, seems he tried to take the GSP route but people don't seem to realize it takes more than wrestling to be GSP

I never thought his striking was that good. He has power but so does everyone else at LHW, he seems to struggle against good strikers.

He fought people who can strike and avoid being taken down.

I don't know if it's any good any more. He doesn't even try to punch or kick, just dives for a takedown right away these days.

1-he lost a lot of confidence from newton
2-he lost a lot of speed and power from age and injuries
3-rampage actually knows how to box

This On the feet mo seemed scared shitless to try anything. He did catch rampage with a left hook i thought was going to rock rampage but rampage seemed unfazed. Then mo tried a combo and rampage dodged all three shots after that mo was like a deer in headlights running if he takedowns didn't work.

yeah, for better or worse, rampage at one point in his career decided to give up on wrestling and just counter ko everyone. his slip/roll and counters are fantastic. mo spent some time at mayweathers and thinks hes a pro boxer now

its funny because rampage stood with glover and had a good fight, but everyone jizzes over glovers boxing and underrates rampages

machida couldnt land anything except one flurry, then had to hit a takedown when rampage started countering, but machida is known as a karate striking master and people forget about rampages boxing

mo didnt have a chance standing with him

All I've got to say is if I was 13 and got to do what King Mo did to Rampage to a girl, I'd be getting high 5's all through the hall.
