In the video below, we see that the Taekwondo trainer is very good at guiding Conor in regards to stance, foot placement, timing and covering correct distance. Yet I realized that I haven't seen this guy at all doing interviews or in Conors corner.

Second video is posted in recent times but I realized that it was from years ago. I am talking about the time when Conor was coming up in ranks before fighting Jose. The trainer is going in aggressively so that Conor can develop power and volume all while going backwards. The result of this training was seen because that's how he beat Chad Mendes. You can see it in the training:

Conor learned the hard way that kicking actually takes up a lot of energy, so he stopped doing his fancy kicks after the first Diaz fight

That's Ludacris way of thinking. I mean yes its true that kicks take energy but you also develop cardio and muscle memory. Wrestling and grappling takes energy and with time, your nervous system adapts and you become more efficient with it. Besides, he gasses out post- Diaz fights as well so that cant be blamed on the taekwondo.

Conor realized his dumb flashy kicks where just for show and didn’t give results. So he got rid of them along with coach and now hes a Boxer basically

They landed on Mendes and did damage. Also it had purpose of having so many variation in his strike that the opponents got flustered and impatient which resulted in them bum rushing Conor and getting countered. But for that to happen, the footwork and kicks had to be employed. They weren't finishing move but they served the purpose of throwing opponents of their game.

Does your phone autocorrect ludicrous to Ludacris? Because that’s hilarious

Mcgoober decided he was a boxer and abandoned everything that got him to the top of the sport.

Well his original SBG Taekwondo coach is currently serving 5 years for manslaughter for killing a guy who tried to intervene in a drunken dispute between him and his girlfriend:

Imagine getting just five years for killing someone. I mean, you can get life sentence for cocaine, or even weed back then. And you can get more time for just simple aggravated assaults.

I'm sure that was accidental, but threatening to stomp someone's face in as a trained fighter and punch the guy to death, five years?

After nate clowned that touch butt coach conor dumped him

What happend to Ido Portal?

Landing on Mendes isn’t much of an accomplishment dude was really hittable. If Conor really felt they where effective and important to him in fights he would still be doing them now. Him stopping is enough evidence that he doesnt see any value in them
