What happened on 4/15/08 here?

What's the significance of that date, other than my tax return was due? I didn't join until afterwards, but I see references to April 15, 2008 in a lot of posters' sig lines and locations. What happened here on that day?

It was sort of a Noah's Ark type event; whereby the OffTopic subforum was purged of its prior existence due to ridiculous porn bombing, raid planning etc... (or so I've heard since I didn't go there much)

FYI it says you regged in March.
