i was rewatching old fedor fights and saw hoffman refused to start the fight....but the fight don't figure in any record list...Was he injuried ??

  2. It was Rings: 10th anniversary Open weight title tournament semi-final, on August 11th 2001. Fedor had just beaten Babalu and was set to fight Hoffman for the title (that same night) however Hoffman was apparently injured from his previous fight and win over Mikhail Illyukhin.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Hoffman

^^ Hoffman fought and was at that Rings:10th anniversary fight on August 11th 2001,

I also believe, that it used to be on Fedor's wiki record and on Hoffman's I think recently it was changed and removed but on Fedor's wikipedia page it talks about the Hoffman fight. Apparently, (as stated) Hoffman was injured from a previous fight with Mikhail Illyukhin (it was a tournament) and refused to fight Fedor so Fedor was given the victory and title. Fedor won via Hoffman's refusal to fight.

I don't know why it was removed it should be regarded as a rightful win no matter how weird the circumstances.

No it shouldn't. If it was a good tournament they would have had a reserve to fight or something.

Hoffman said he was injured and pulled out but really pussied out after seeing the way Fedor was crushing the shit out of everyone.

Yup, it should be on his record since RINGS said he won the fight. They declared him the winner. I tried to have Wiki put it back on there and they wanted evidence. I sent them the video where Fedor was declared the winner and they said videos aren't evidence. lol, I responded with something like "a video showing rings declare him the winner of the fight is the best evidence there is. It's the only evidence needed actually." They still never changed it because they are retarded. ELO MMA did add the fight though after I sent them the video.

There is an old interview where Fedor is asked about this and he replies that he's not sure what was going on: Hoffman's team stating that Bobby was injured but the Japanese doctors stating there was no injury.

Bill Laimbeer and the Pistons were so good that Jordan had to cry to the NBA to get the rules changed. I may be a troll but a can..... I have never fought Fedor so don't classify me as that. Also the video you posted was cokehead Parrish taking a cheap shot.... Good stuff.

If you weigh in, but don't fight, it's a loss. That's how it works. It's refusal to answer the bell.

In that case there's loads of losses that need to be counted. Like Shamrock vs. Kimbo 1. I'm all for it personally.

I've had fighters lose that way and I've also filed the loses for other fighters that have lost that way.

Of course, I am speaking for Vegas only. But once you weight in, there is no backing out without a loss.
