    Criticised:

Ronda - Should fight Cyborg at a weight that doesn't exist in the UFC
Jones - Stands 6'5 therefore ducking Heavyweight

    Not criticised:

GSP - Long reigning Welterweight champion.

    Any others?

Guys like Lineker who have failed to make weight more times than once.

Ummmm what? Clearly new to Sherdog, I would imagine. GSP is criticized about everything and was criticized hundreds of times on Sherdog for not moving up to fight Silva.

Hell, GSP is criticized for somehow "ducking" opponents, while he is retired.

GSP faced incredible criticism for never moving up to fight Silva. Dana White has criticized him for this as recently as this past spring/summer with the McGregor and Silva move-ups.

Silva, meanwhile, received a pass for never moving up to fight Jones. Yes, Silva moved up to LHW three times.. but never to fight the best. Irvin, Bonnar and even Griffin were gimme's for Anderson.

Jones was the most criticized for not moving up.

Waaaah!! He's fighting guys smaller than him.

    Waaaah! It's cheating.

    GSP was criticised. A lot.

In fact, GSP and RR and JJ are the only 3 that I can really think of who've ever been broadly criticized for it. Pretty much everyone else ever has gotten a pass.

GSP has same basic frame as Fedor.

    Let that sink in.

you must be new to MMA.

GSP got most of his grief exactly because he did not go up to fight Silva.
Now he is getting grief because he said he would fight Bisping at 185.

Ronda: Left 145 with the promise to get back to fight Cyborg.
Then refused to fight even at CW.

Jon: Has the biggest reach in MMA> He himself wanted to move up to HW, blocked by Dana.

Bottom line: all your examples are wrong.

Granted, Silva was obviously the heavy favorite for all of those fights, but Griffin was right off his brief time as LHW champ. Because of that, it was about as close to a "super fight" as we get, outside of something like when Penn moved up to fight GSP for the WW title.

Are you crazy? Sherdog crapped on GSP non stop. Silva got a pass for refusing to fight Jones.

What are all of you talking about? GSP is a small WW, haven't you heard GSP? He's a natural LW actually. USADA has nothing to do with it!

Gsp is the main guy IMO because there was a point where him Koschek and Fitch couldn't be beaten but GSP dominated them both. I think GSP could have beaten Silva when they were both on top but maybe hindsight is fogging my judgement

GSP would have to fight the perfect fight for 25 minutes, kind of like Sonnen did in the 1st fight, minus the last minute of the fight.

Silva could end the fight at any point at the start of each round, before GSP would have to take him down again.

Winnable fight for GSP but extremely difficult.
