I say bad because he was getting WHOOPED by a debut fighter who pretty much only had time to cut weight until he gassed.

A debut fighter who apparently whoops other top Jackson's fighters in sparring .. Wait until Lando proves himself lol Tony showed how special he is imo other top guys could've lost that fight & Fergie took his hardest shots and made it a fun fight even though he had everything to lose

Ferguson doesn't get enough credit for this fight. He had nothing to gain from this fight(as seen by his stock going down after a finish win) and a lot to lose. I imagine its hard getting motivated to fight a nobody, especially when you've won 7 in a row and still haven't gotten a title shot. He didn't have much time to learn about his opponent who comes from a legit camp. But he still gave us a show, never went into lay and pray mode after getting hurt, didn't play it safe. He had a crazy brawl then started picking him apart with more technical striking and finished him by knowing he would duck his head. I don't get the hate.

Yeah his chin is awesome, he takes shots flush often in fights. That Lando guy did well in first round but Tony was hitting him with some great shots too and did land more strikes. I thought Ferguson would choke him out early in 1st round, so the kid did well to last 1 and 1/2 rounds, he was becoming a punching bag in 2 round after getting dropped by Tony.

Ferguson beats Eddie, too fast for him, and too creative and crafty in the striking, his subs are very creative too and lightning fast.

I find myself not wanting to completely show my bias towards Ferguson but i think the same but Eddie gets hit and rocked in almost every fight if you watch the RDA fight again he got hit with a hard shot and got rocked but again he came back into the fight. very similar. i give the edge to Tony on his spinning shit. he hit Vannata with a spinning elbow that stopped his attack for a few seconds but Tony didn't follow up fast enough as he was still rocked too. great fight.

All true, but as a top guy who's close to a title shot, that lack of defense is a problem. He's taken shots to the face before and kept coming, but when you get hurt multiple times against a unrefined, yet unorthodox newcomer it's not a good sign. It wasn't a good sign before, but when you get hurt...
