Plus, Cormier seems like a pretty good dude, but he's got a bit of an annoying side to his personality. It's like he's always trying to convince himself of his greatness...

I think that Jones is right that Cormier wants to be alpha so much, but that as long as Jones is around, he never really will be.

It kinda sucks because Cormier seems like a nice guy and Jones definitely doesn't seem to be.

This is the fight game, though...There aren't many "nice guys" at the top, for that reason, Jones doesn't need to be one to be liked. In fact, a lot of the Jones hate in the past came from the fact that people didn't like the act...

I've always been a fan of Jones and generally like Cormier., but right now it feels like Cormier has too much on the line. With Jones it's kinda fun to see if he can get his shit together, beat DC, become UberJones, etc.. With DC it feels like a personal vendetta with his pride hanging in the balance.

Daniel Cormier has gone from the person on the high ground to the person taking every chance to go low. It's low and dishonorable to talk trash about a person's struggles with sobriety, it's ridiculous to pretend that he didn't get dominated last time the two fought. The guy acts like he is the undisputed champion and there is a huge dispute. He lost soundly to the guy who is undefeated in the ring (the Matt Hamill loss is a joke) then got a chance immediately after that loss to fight someone else for that belt. Now he lords that belt over Jones. He's self righteous, ignorant and he is talking down to a lot more people than Jon Jones when he insults Jon for struggling in life. That's why he gets booed. Look at him and Rockhold, they are a couple or jock douche bags that think their shit don't stink.

Actually no. The reality is that sherdog hates success. You hated Jones because he was successful and kept winning. Has nothing to do with DC. We've seen this mentality over and over on sherdog. You can justify it however you want, but you will go back to hating if he destroys DC and starts dominating everyone again.
