What does Stipe's early finish of Maldonado say about Glover's punching power?

All HW's have power, indeed nearly everyone over 155 has power, and it just gets worse the larger you get. If you went into this fight thinking Stipe didn't have the power to put away a LHW with only a few shots then you haven't seen many HW fights.

ITT: OP notices a single fighter dropping in a single fight earlier than he did in another single fight. Concludes that LHWs have no business ever moving up to HW, despite the facts such as:
- fighters have won titles in both weight classes before
- the GOAT HW probably could have made LHW without much trouble
- the current HW champ probably could too

Not only is Stipe a HW with KO power, but he also has 4 inches of reach on Glover. These size disparities not only made Maldonado unable to get in range and trade with Stipe, but they also allowed Stipe to land more accurate and effective shots than Glover could while he was keeping Fabio at bay.

Don't read too much into it bro.

For the record, I'm not trying to bash Glover.
Just merely making a comparison between Glover & Miocic in terms of power & technique...
& maybe hinting the possible outcome if the 2 were ever to fight each other.

Why would you be interesting in hinting this? Are you also going to go out on a limb and hint that Jon Jones would beat John Dodson?

Weight classes matter, that's what it says to me. HW's hit a LOT harder than LHW's. Straw man about some greats going up from LHW, come one dudes, this is in general. The greats can compete at almost any weight they match Height and Reach. In general though you will get your head asshated by a bigger dude.
