What does overtraining feel like

Show me training. Show me how close to overtraining you can get.

I am genuinely interested.

Close to 3000 calories yesterday. Walking and training. 1:44 = 1751 calories. I am heavy so my heart rate goes up from just runing fast for a minute. Bag work raises it to 140 imediately as hivg as 170 bpm. I will bother to edit the video, if you say "pretty please". Though I am a rookie recorder so I wanna redo it. I don't think it looks good. Another day another video not posted. Akabadabra pretty please and you got it 😉

Just train man. Stop worrying about making these posts. You spend the whole time worrying about the timer and camera.
Uvjek želiš ispasti pametniji i djeliti savjete.

Sine reci -dobar- i šuti. Vidi se da treniram jače od tebe.

You called me out in the post. Don't complain when you don't get a nice response.
When you asked my opinion on your previous bag work vid I did initially give positive feedback.

You are the problem, not me.

There is no problem.

I respect you and want to fight you, Eric, Frode and Versez all in the same day. To get in a solid workout.

My suggestion is to shorten your rounds and add more rest.

During your work period you:

1) Pick a stance and stick with it.
2) Pick a combination and work that, and only that, for the round. Every round has a goal.
3) During that work period go higher intensity. Medium tempo works neither speed nor power. Wear a HR monitor if you are worried you might die.

That's it.

Also, I'd go barefoot on gym floors while pivot kicking. Sooooo many ACLs get torn on basketball style flooring. Let your foot pivot.

4 x 3. Kickboxing timer. Learn to pace for the whole duration. 3 + 1 extra round.

I disagree. I like switching. At one point begining of round 2 I think, I just did a little stance switch drill, throw the same strike from each stance one after other, switched after most strikes. Right jab left jab, upercut cross ect, also low mid high kick left than right. Switching stances improves technique. Nothing wrong with strictly staying in your own stance. It's fun more advanced. Easy getting bored on the bag. It's not a fight you can try out things.
2) Pick a combination and work that, and only that, for the round. Every round has a goal.

Great idea, I don't drill combos at all. I did do 4x2 after this. 1 only front kicks both legs, 2 only boxing but medium pace chain boxing - not my ocasional powershots and tiny combos, 3 just knees elbows, 4 freestyle.

3) During that work period go higher intensity. Medium tempo works neither speed nor power. Wear a HR monitor if you are worried you might die.
I do sometimes 5 x 1. 1 intense non stop 1 rest x 5.

I wear HR now. It does go up high. I disabled warning. It goes even to 170.

That's it.

it's just the fitness gym, not walking barefoot here. Dirty. I tear nothing. I got good joints. I warmed up 5 min runing and 10 min rolling all my joints, dinamic stretch, light shadow box. And the first round of the vid the first half of round 1 I go lighter.

I think people get injured cause warming up is considered boring. I consider it work. Light mobility cardio stretch. Habit. Roll the neck wrist elbows hips shoulders knees in a circle motion. Both directions. 20-30 times. Good habit to keep. From my youth.

So yeah drilling combos is great input. I never do. I barely got any combos. I do some shorter ones.

Monday I wanted to take a trial week at a new gym and we'll surely drill many combos there. And I get to be barefoot which I love. Kicking barefoot is awesome.

I'm just joking bro with you guys like I always do. Oss. You know I got respect.

Bro @maximus__ I'm clowning around cause you literaly said the other day I shouldn't give out advice. I showed you my skills. I feel qualified to give some advice on a internet forum. I'll give out feedback to actualy fighters too, in person. And recive. It's normal. It's the internet here, if you don't like getting feedback on fighting why are you on sherdog. People who never seen a gym can comment too. So what. We all watch fights and got life experience. Noone is charging coaching fees here. It's just comments. Don't underestimate noone. Also there is no obligation to agree to feedback. Think for yourself.
If you're gonna underestimate me, I'm simply not gonna agree and we still can be friends. Simple.

I gotta work harder though I been getting real lazy. Did 3 workouts than 2 days lazy, tonight made myself go really late. I gotta get focused. Not sure what my problem is. Probably fitness gets boring. Kickboxing is challenging. I might go all the time if I sign up. Hard to stay motivated. I could do much more. When I go, I do it well, but I don´t always go. I could have done at least double the workouts I did this month. At the very least. Let alone try to do 1 short and a real one a day. At least gotta do 6 days a week for starters. I should lose more weight. And get much fitter. The shots feel harder than they look. Looking at it, it´s not dinamic enough, not fast enough. Weight is also a major key, 113 kg for a 6 foot guy is a whole lot, you see my mid section here. Just gotta go non negotiable each day, take 1 off weekly. It´s lazyness.

Also recording yourself you´re gonna do way worse than no camera. You are gonna tryhard, pace wrong ect ect. It´s not the same. As soon as you slow down, you get embarassed and try throwing again, it´s quiet unatural to record yourself.

Working out hard and long, no problem. Getting to the gym - big problem. Once I´m there I´ll do it all. If I´m home I´ll fight my own thoughts to make myself go. Humans are hardwired to be lazy. What forces me to go to a gym. My survival isn´t depenent on it. Not going - regret, guilty consciousness. But the lazy is strong. It tells you do it later.

You can't outwork a bad diet. Sounds like you have struggled with impulse control and addiction. Getting rid of 10-20lbs would do wonders.

21 days to a new habit.

Take a look at Kowboy's training logs where he walks 3 miles practically every day. If you got up everyday and walked 3 miles in the morning then went to the gym in the evening for 21 days I bet you would feel amazing.

Definately not overtraining.

I mean I take a low dosage of a fat maker "brain" medication to call it that but lowest dose. I googled it makes me eat more, like less self restraint, if I fix my old phone I got pics at 105 kg with no belly fat at all, I trained hard, on double the dosis compared to now, just like 4 years ago, I was a stud, now fat, I trained hard, fighting was my passion, only thing to make me work hard. Addiction ? Well I know you crave alcohol, I am addicted to nictoine and was a THC consument for about 4 years. I got shitface drunked in my 20ies some weekends but never ever alcoholic or even day drinking, just club or some get together party stuff. I was addicted to, chocolate and sugar. Went from 84 kg to 100. Had to eat like 1000 or more calories of candy and sweets daily. Part of it is my mom always gave me chooclate / sweets every day since I was a kid. I mean she was working those 7 years when we fled the war to Germany, me and my bro, dad and grandma were at home. So it was easy to give me some chocolate every day, well the kids liked it. Habbit formed. I can´t count how many teeth I already have repaired, basically all besides my front tooth row lol. 20 pounds, I mean my gut is straight up disgusting, I just can´t bring myself to go to the MMA gym I crave, for reasons verious. I mean I def gott issues in my head. I don´t even wanna talk about it. I don´t judge others, crazy, crack habit, homeless ect noone. I do judge myself every single day.

21 days to a new habit.

Smoke crack and in 21 days you can be a crack freee person if you take 42 days. I gotta make jokes life is serious enough.

I mean I´m tired of life and time sliping away, 38 years. God´s punishment. Never will see what I wanna see.

Signed up to a Gym. Trained today. I'm back. Skills are high feeling wise. Just spining shit hard to land on proper moving bag. But kicks are great on real bag barefoot. My left high is out of this world and effortless. I should knock someone out. Soon is sparring day, 10 rounds, let's see how I do. I still half way smoke cigs. Single cigs of the kiosk.

I'm gonna murk @maximus__ my left high is gonna decipate him. His head flying. Dead, he is dead.

But the mats are giving me fucking burns on my soles. Weird feeling. Shall pass.

Hit the bags at the fitness gym and now I'm sharper than ever. See it counts as training Max. Let's go. 2x a day. Don't start working until 1.9. Just train 2x a day.

This is a proper bag and mats. Owwie. Much much better. But my soles def need to adapt. But hitting the bag at the weights gym was the perfect move. Got skills and cardio. Work is work. Mirko literaly made it training out of his dads garage using self made cement weights. If you want it you can do it.

Those kicks with shoes and that static bag is nothing. I kick so much better now. Not gonna use video, maybe at some point way latter. We don´t film much in Germany, especially if you are back at it. Privacy.

Edit : deleted pic

Bag barefoot vs fitness gym is night and day, so much better. But they really move. Kept missing spining back kicks. But the kicks are so much better in a proper gym. Feeling I'm gonna own this shit.

Edit : basicaly just got excited over finally starting again. Just talkin a bit smack, shoot the shits. Max knows we will face of in Australia eventually, I hope he trains too. And his kids let him sleep. And his Boss let´s him take days off.

Now I gotta mix in kickboxing with lifitng weights. Maybe even do 1 run weekly. Jokes on you not working rocks. Keep crying Contempt. Maybe do like kickboxing 9 times a week and lift weights 3 x and do 1 random run. Sounds like a plan. Kickboxing is just 1:15, perhaps I´ll do 10 mins warm up before always. Sleep early and long. Contempt gotta pay his morgage. Ccccccc. Theoretically I can do 6 x 2 and 1 rest day. But gotta sleep 8-9 for that.

Footage of me fighting Max Frode Eric Versez one after the other. "You are dead, Dead".

The bag in the video above is a shit bag. That´s why it looks like I got no power. It´s a cheap commercial fitness gym bag that is crude and makes no cool sounds. It sucks. But work is work. On real bags the sounds and feel are night and day difference. And being barefoot. You can´t kick with shoes. Also crazy how much real bags move. They fly around. I missed 7/10 spining bag fits. How it should be. Proper timing and reflexes.
