What does it physically feel like to break the sound barrier?

Any pilots here? Do you suddenly shoot ahead as though you've broken something resisting acceleration? Or is there no sensation at all?

Some flight suits are super tight in the legs to force blood back up into the brain so that the pilot doesn't pass out. Those G-forces sound like loads of fun.

I'd imagine it depends on how fast you're accelerating at that moment. If anything, drag should increase the faster you go.

Awesome. It feels awesome.

From what I've read, the only indication of breaking the sound barrier is the speed indicator telling you that you did.

When Felix Baumgartner skydived from the edge of space he broke the sound barrier during free fall and said he didn't feel anything.

It's alright. I mean she tries to hide her disappointment by going to the shower while I smoke a cig with a grin on my face.

Why are these planes wearing skirts.

Pretty sure my Uncle Tyrone broke the sound barrier once. Still got his ass chewed up by the police dogs though. That's probably his memory of things

Let me ask my big ppp. Usually breaks the barrier with the quickness.

Like rain on your wedding day. Like a free ride when your already late.
