What is the point of it?

If you are not going to take the best vs. Rousey, and just keep feeding her new and different but even less dangerous fighters just to pad her resume and keep her ultra casual fans focused on the shiny bright object.....should any of us care about the "other" WMMA fights anymore?

holm is at least more legit as a new opponent - third tate fight is a joke, shes a great competitor but in more established divisions, people who have lost twice to the champ need to move or whatever to be relevant

wmma has its own special rules though - tate would at least be a guaranteed win for ronda and there would be good sound bites, so that type of fan would be satisfied
