It's only better if it's gained more than it lost. Tate is gone, Ronda might be gone/is likely broken, Cat might not be what be what she was. To replace them we have Holly, Shevchenko, and an improved Nunes, it's pretty debatable which group at their peak is better.

"Evolution huggers" are what are dumb. The same idiots who acted like Cain and JDS, or Rockhold and Weidman were some kind of nigh superhuman beings never seen before, and who try to pinpoint "evolution" in every single changing of the guard (top 5 wise) in a division. With very very few exceptions Wmma = pillow fists. Ronda exploited WMMAs lack of striking danger and beat everyone with grappling. She's a killer grappler but doesn't know how to throw a punch at someone that knows how to box. Losing to an over the hill boxer just showed the huge hole in her game. They could make Ronda look good again by only booking her against people who can't strike, but I think she's mentally broken. That's what happens to a bully that never learned how to lose.

Ronda sucks. Always has. One trick pony who fought cans and soccer moms. Her fanbase was delusional and I'm so happy I can trigger every single one them every time they read my posts. Oh. Agree! and besides that, Holly's loss weren't pathetic like Ronda's.
Holly was winning to Miesh, but she managed to attempt the greatest thing she ever did in her career (like when on a football match a team is losing and the last 5 minutes the goalkeeper goes on desperation to play as midfielder, desperation)
Valentina is one of the best mma fighters ever (after Amanda), she lost fair.
She got robbed at Derandamie's fight.

None of that loss she was beat the fuck up like ronda had twice.

Holly has really looked bad in every fight except for Ronda. It was a clear case of having a good game plan and Ronda diving right into it. It's clear confidence had a lot to do with Ronda's success. Who knows if she fought Nunes before Holm she may have beaten her.
