The rule can go. It's a legit defense and needs to be legal. Topic answer point deduction and replay assist to see the acting job here by Bellato. If he doesn't want to continue then he can get dq'd.
 
I thought they literally did change the rule, where you need to have both knees down. Or was that just in one state or something?
No. Nowhere considers a knee down standing, nor should anywhere consider that to be the case

Can anyone show the image where his head took the brunt? It hit the collarbone and maybe the foot brushed against the head passing by? That's not what I'd call a head strike.

Seems like nobody including the officials really know what the "no-upkick" rule is really about.

It's a muddy confusing rule that doesn't really protect fighters, as the guy on the bottom is basically relegated to the taking head strikes but not being allowed to respond adequately. Get rid of it.
