If Nate wins, what next for him? Most likely Conor defends against Aldo/Edgar. But does Nate face Eddie or will Khabib get the shot? Nate vs. Ferguson?

If Conor wins, does he face Aldo/Edgar or could he drop the FW belt and get the LW title shot after beating number 5 in the LW division?

Conor wins, tries to defend against Edgar. Misses weight but KO's him in the first leaving the FW belt vacant. Faces winner of Ferguson/Alvarez for the LW belt with Nate/Khabib being held for #1 contender as the co main event on the same card.

Not a popular answer here - But i think Conor wins the fight and goes back and does very well in FW. I don't think there is a FW that can beat him barring an off night. As long as Conor stays there he is good.

Nate is a journeyman fighter - he has been made out to be much better than he is becasue he beat Conor in March. Nate is a fun fighter but really nothing special Conor should beat him much easier than people on here like to think.

That said if Conor goes to LW he gets worked badly in the most stacked division in UFC

If Nate wins, he might get an undeserved title shot against Eddie. I think that would be an awesome fight though, so I'd be fine with it. Sucks for Ferguson/Khabib, but oh well, injuries are a bitch.

Nate fights Eddie, Khabib, or Ferguson. If he wins against a contender, he gets a title shot. If the UFC thinks him getting a title shot is the money fight, they'll make that happen.

Conor retires or goes back to 145 after a layoff to recover from the hellacious beating (it will be worse than the first fight), then faces the winner of Aldo / Edgar (which I suspect will be Edgar).

No matter what happens Conor probably ends up back at FW because LW is full of killers. Even if he gets a title shot at LW he'll lose and quickly move back down. At FW I give him 50/50 chances of keeping his belt in his first defense. We know his cardio isn't the best so Edgar could always tire him out with wrestling and then cruise to a decision if Edgar beats Aldo. Conor probably settles into a #3 or so position at featherweight eventually.

Nate probably gets a LW title shot if he beats Conor. He could beat Alvarez but not Khabib or some of the other guys at LW. If he loses he probably ends up being offered an RDA rematch which he may or may not accept.

Nate will beat Conor and then go back down to 155 to fight Ferguson. Jose Aldo will beat Frankie and get the Interim belt. Conor will also move down to 155 and get an automatic shot at Eddie. Eddie will beat Conor by split decision. Conor will move back down to 145 to claim his division, get drained by the cut, and lose to Jose Aldo. Conor will then say that 145 is too much of a cut for him without an IV and move back up to 170 where he'll get an automatic shot at Wonderboy. The fight will be competitive, but Conor would be too small. In this run, Conor would have still made more money than anyone else mentioned in this thread even though he lost 5 straight.

He would have a competitive fight against Wonderboy yet still loses to Aldo/Diaz?

Diaz can fight Ferguson. If Conor wins he can fight pretty much anyone. Eddie while Aldo recovers. Cerrone at WW. GSP in a superfight. A trilogy fight with Diaz. Faber is always there just in case anybody pulls.

Conor loses and then retires is the most likely outcome.

If Conor somehow pulls off a win, they will give him a title shot at 155.

Ufc 202 is months from now. Focus on ufc 200 for now buddy
