when talking about fighting mayweather, conor stated that he has to spin a TKD plate, a boxing plate, a kickboxing plate, a wrestling plate, etc. and that if he only had to spin a boxing plate it would take a load off him.

does he have a point?

for example

A lot of MMA fighters have had a lot of success in kickboxing. IMO this is because they don't have to worry about the takedowns.

interesting conceptt

He has a point but it's too late for him to become an elite boxer, if he had never gone into mma as a kid and just focused on boxing he probably could have been elite.

yeah it probably is too late for him to be an elite boxer. He can probably get a few wins over there though.

If he had to only focus on fake fighting he wouldn't be elite of the elite like Floyd is, but he would be a pretty good boxer overall.

boxing is still complicated as fuck

because everybody is training the same things all the time every little thing makes a difference

McGregor doesn't have to worry about takedowns either since he picks his opponents, let's see Khabib vs Conor and then talk

of course, if you can train something 100% of the time instead of 20% of the time no doubt you will be better at it. common sense

He probably took the past 4 months away from training to hire a team of writers at $500,000 per person working 24 hours a day to come up with that line.

Conor only picks his fights because everyone wants to fight him, he can't fight everyone, so he picks from the guys who already picked him.

To be fair, it does look difficult...
