A few hours of self loathing and promises to god about never doing that again usually helps.
I used to drink a lot of vodka - water, sometimes with lime or lemon juice.
Low cal drink, tastes good, gets you slammered and keeps you hydrated.
consuming yeast ahead of drinking cuts down on the effects of alcohol...
I didn't ask to cut down on the effects. I have a high enough tolerance as it is ha.
haha. but that should prevent the hangover in the first place! but i'd be annoyed at having to drink so much to tie one on.
Eggs benedict solves everything.
Don't really worry about hangovers. Tolerance used to be to the moon but I don't breathe alcohol anymore.
Now when I find myself hungover.. Just drink a lot of water and eat greasy food, with a toxic dump in there somewhere. Worst part is the dehydration headaches.
Bloody Mary (or two, or three).

When you get up:
Mostly this, the weekend long promise of not drinking again
there is not cure - if you drink that much then you're going to get a hangover.
You can sure as fuck lessen the effects though - water before, and during your drinking session helps alot.
eating, not mixing drinks (especially sugary ones).
But in the end if you go over-board you're going to pay the price the next day.
I'm 33 and I hear you. I use to drink at least 6 or 7 when I was out and maybe a shot. Now, 2 - 3 seems good. Anymore than that is just the formula for heartburn and grogginess.
