Well seeing as most people will likely be getting hungover tomorrow morning I thought it was as apt a time as any to ask: what do you use to prevent or cure a hangover?

I've personally tried milk thistle tablets but I think I drink too much to notice the effects from them. I have friends who swear by them though.

I've also heard n-acetyl cysteine tablets work pretty well and I'm planning on giving them a go.

As for when a hangover has already kicked in, I like to eat eggs and bananas (as apparently they do something to help) and also have a smoothie whilst drinking water all day.

I'm hoping to hear some miracle cures here Mayberry, so share your wisdom.

Lots of water first and foremost. Other than that, I can usually just drink a cup of coffee, snap a bowl, eat some breakfast, take a shit... and I'm good.

There is nothing you can do other than eat a decent meal and stay hydrated.

I'm going to try to keep it to three drinks tonight when we go out to the bar. No shots. At my age (35) its just not worth the hangover anymore.

Other than getting wankered again, if you can cure a hangover you didn't drink enough in the first place.

Sex, water, a full English breakfast and bed helps though.

I keep iv supplies handy. If I drink some water and eat breakfast and still feel bad, I'll sling in 1000ml of fluids and 100mg of thiamine.

drink good quality whisky, add some water, you wont get fall down drunk, but you will have a great time, alternatively hammer a few party "supplements", vitamin x/bolivian marching powder and party hard until the wheels fall off in a few days time.

Taper off ie, carry on drinking smaller and smaller amounts until you're down to nothing. That's actually the only way to 100% avoid a hangover if you've really gone for it.

I just don't mix beer and hard alcohol.

Wake up feeling fine but dehydrated with beer.

Might wake up with a slight tinge in my head with hard alcohol but nothing asprin can't take care of.

Mix them and I'm in trouble.

Well, if I'm really hung over I'll have just one or two rips from the bong then go eat a rich, delicious eggs benny.

    I'm usually better after that.

    Does anybody actually do that?
I've never ever seen anyone do it.
