With Jones/Gus II being moved to UFC 178, and with UFC 177 being only two months away, it needs a main event pretty soon. What do you see being the main event?

Dillashaw/Renan rematch?

It's the only main event I see as being possible, all other title fights have been booked, minus Hendricks since he is still recovering.

Wait, so you are telling me that the UFC has scheduled PPVs before they even know if they have fights worthy of PPVs?

Hmm, I wonder why things are becoming watered down and more 'tossed together'.

179 and 181 are other PPVs that were determined to be needed without having fights for them. 3 PPVs already scheduled and very few PPV-worthy fights able to be made. WHY?

Stop scheduling PPVs until you have fights for them, and you wont be forced to split all of your fights across the various pre-scheduled PPVs... Seems pretty basic.

Barao just took a lot of damage in that last fight, I really hope they give him a little more time to recover before they throw him back in there with the champ. Concussions are no joke and I'd be surprised if he wasn't concussed in the last fight.

TJ vs someone would make sense!

Im expecting Jones vs Gus to be UFC 177 seeing how the last PPV did + the fact that they havent announced a single fight for the card.

They may have asked Weidman or Ronda, like they did with Ronda pre 169.

Maybe Ronda vs Zingano

Or

Tj vs Assuncao

Jones vs Gus 2 in September. Cancel the August 30th card. no need for 2 ppv's in August.

barao prolly has a concussion. didnt they give him a medical suspension to heal up?

Ppl seem to keep forgetting the Brazil PPV in October.

We all know Aldo isnt gonna fight on that card if he beats Mendes because he needs 6 months to prepare for a fight, so Barao/Dillashaw is the only title fight that makes sense on that card unless Machida beats Weidman or Weidman goes to Brazil to fight Vitor.

Dominick Cruz vs Mizugaki/Assuncao

UFC 177 is less than two months away and no fights have been announced at all. Not a good sign...

Okamoto reported/speculated that the bantamweight title fight is almost a lock for that card.

Jones stated he agreed for Sept 27 and that he wouldn't be able to prepare for any fight before this very date.

I agree with the decision to make the rematch in Toronto, Canada instead of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sounds more fun and fresh for a Bones title defense.
