Personally, I used to supplement with protein, ammino s and creatine in the past when I used to lift. Nowadays I take multivitamins, fish oil, vitamin d3 and I've been experimenting with Move-free joint supplement ( been working pretty well, although I'm pretty sure the target audience for this are old folks).

This has been working OK for me, but I still feel worn down (i do eat a balanced diet).

I'm really curious about what you guys use (especially competitors) to make things easier on the body. Or if you see glaring issues with what I use, please let me know.

Muscle Pharm Combat powder - vanilla
Pure Protein bars - mixed variety

I supplement my bjj training with P90X, so i'm kinda sticking with the diet as well. Lots of protein, low to no sugar, etc. the MP Combat powder tastes great and so do the Pure Protein bars.

None, honestly. Solid diet, limit the beer intake, rest, and plenty of water. 37 years old, and most times, I feel better than when I was 25. Except for when I don't...Dammit.

Personally I take Fishoil, D3, Multi (green sourced) , Turmeric, and sometimes ginseng. Hard to tell if it helps, but these are the ones with the most research behind it.

I used to use protein powder but after the lawsuits I decided against it since they were cheating the protein amounts. And I started using strictly food for building and protein needs. I always eat clean and healthy lots of fruits and vegetables. But my work is very physically demanding so I use assault on some days and opus by magnum on others. I use opus on mainly lifting and grappling days and later at night cause it's stimulant free, and assault on kickboxing and cardio heavy workouts.

Eat as much veggies, and drink as much water as possible. Lotta placebo shit out there in my experience.

    Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey
    Optimum Nutrition Creatine Monohydrate
A Vitamin Complex such as MP Assault etc.
    Cellucor Alpha Amino
    Cellucor C4 Reactor

Might seem like a lot, but I train 6x per week and sometimes hit the gym as well.

Most importantly, I eat 5 times a day like a fucking pig. On my 18'th birthday I weighed 117 pounds on my height of 6 feet. I'm 21 now and after 2 and a half years of grappling I weigh 184 pounds.
