What Do I like about Guarana Seeds?

I enjoying chewing on Guarana seeds.

When I begin to break them up my body is flooded by a good feeling, like some good drug just kicked in.

I can get this by chewing on only 1 or 2 seeds.

What chemical compound has just kicked in? I don't think it is a small amount of caffeine. What else is at work?

Guarana is found in most energy drinks and consuming a lot can be bad. It is kind of like pure caffeine.

 

It is Nature's version of legal speed.

To answer the last two questions:

There is a little bitterness, but not as much as you would expect. You need to consider that I have developed a tolerance for bitterness, as I consume a Quad Espreso daily!

I put a few seeds in my mouth and let them swirl around for a bit. I don't get the "rush" of being flooded with the euphoric feeling until I chew a little bit. At this moment, I suspect a mild for of Synesthesia kicks in. My mouth and brain are filled with the color blue, a comforting, soothing blue.

I have consumed Guarana in the past in the form of supplements. I suspect that some of the brands were normal caffeine disguised as More trendy Guarana. These gave me the usual kick associated with a caffeine high, but not the feeling that I get when eating fresh seeds.

I bought these for fun on Ebay. Two packs of 30 to 50 seeds each. It cost $7.99 including. I suspect these packs are intended for planting, not eating. It was a weird transaction. The seller send me a free gift - Labeled Lotus eaters blend. It smelled like oranges. I suspect is is supposed to be some sort of Legal High. I was afraid to smoke it. I put it in my Coffee Maker and brewed it. It didn't get me high, and I didn't hallucinate. It did give me a headache, like Mate Tea does. I went to leave feedback, but the seller is no longer registered.

Lol, check this out. I went of Holland and Barrett's website looking for Guarana tablets and found 800mg tablets (per tablet). Read the advice on the label, it's must be madly inaccurate!.

Oh in case you weren't aware, Holland and Barrett are a well known UK Health and Supplement company chain, very mainstreem but not very good!
