im seeing it pop up on netflix.

anyone watch it recently or when it came out?

i watched this a few years ago while flying and was very impressed and entertained.

this is a very thought provoking dark comedy that touches on a lot social and political topics and it seems pretty fresh in its execution and delivery.

Yeah I enjoyed it for the most part. Has a decent atmospheric/black comedy vibe. I liked the main character and Danny Glover is funny in it.

Once it gets to the "reveal" with the

I watched it . A little too political for me. Funny moments and yeah last 30 minutes was just really weird with no ending really. Other than the main guy becomes a horse dude

I will say the whole lifetime contract premise is disturbing and not that far fetched from possible future reality.

its also critical of capitalism and raises questions about the difficulty of being genuine in a consumer culture.

the lifetime contract is something also covered in sci fi book Space Merchants.

and we have corporations thinking about building stand alone cities and shit like with the construction of the qatar soccer stadium. its closer than most people think i think


sci fi. action. animated. adventure. is my jam but ill check out other shit too

Most of what I would reccomend you already saw. I will say if you never watched Hell or High Water that's likely my favorite movie of last 10 to 15 years.
