I realize they didn't test much, probaby just before the fight, but what did they do with the piss? Light a match and toss it in and if it didn't catch fire toss it out? I'm just wondering because fighters we were skeptical of USADA could test it like when Armstrong's urine was backlogged. I'm assuming they didn't save it but it would be interesting to see if anyone was clean.

I'm sure they all had something that would get flagged today

NSAC enhanced testing which included random, out of competition and hGH tests started in late 2013, 3 weeks after GSP retired.

Nothing - it was all local commission and in competition testing - failing a drug test was failing an IQ / cycle test

What did the ufc do before colluding with usada you mean?! Lol

Put on the best MMA fights on American soil, that's what they did. Shame that whiners and simps fucked up the best combat sport this country has ever had.

Didnt do shit. Didnt u see how jacked everyone was? Hughes, newton, miletich. Everyone has always been on steroids.

Im guessing the most basic of PED testing, Boxing doesnt seem to have anything that special to this days either, but fighters seem to sign for better testing, it seems to be something fighter based, rather than AC/Org based.

Machida would taste it and if it tasted bad they would exit the testing pool

The very first time a non-main event fighter was tested in the UFC was in 2006 (Stephan Bonnar UFC 62). In the 10 years that both PRIDE and the UFC were simultaneously operational, the UFC had 5 fighters pop and PRIDE had 3 fighters pop.

The UFC didn't drug test for shit. It's a made-up fantasy.

They had you fill out a form.

Question 7a of the prefight questionaire:

Have you used exogenous testosterone or other PEDs within the last 30 days?

If the fighter answered yes, they were suspended, but if they answered no, they could fight.

For some reason, there was a 100% no rate on the questionaire despite some of the fighters who answered no testing positive at pre-scheduled athletic commission drug tests....its strange.

My theory is either their doctors were jealous of their pay and snuck PEDs into their booster shots, or....aliens.

Piss tests at best, and that really depended on the commission. It use to be really common to only test the winners too. It was super budget back in the day.

A commissioner may be assigned to you, and follow you around the warmup room as soon as you check into the event prefight. He can follow you to the restroom and watch what you ingest before the fight. You win theres a chance they can make you pee in a cup.

GSP was getting tested by VADA back in 2012; your bias against GSP/for Jones is hilarious.

And I'm not even a GSP fan.
