Simple question... what would be the best platform, service, website, (however you want to call it) to host and build my company website.

I work on video so I dont need an overly complicated website, in reality 95% of my business prospects I just send them to my youtube channels where they can see hundreds of videos I have produced, and they are happy with that. The website is simply to put it on the business cards and only because nowadays any business MUST have a website (even if they dont use it) Im a do-it-myself type of person so the service must have one of those programs to build your own "simple" website

I would probably use the website to have videos embedded from youtube. My business sells on what I show I can do in video so again I dont need anything complicated. Probaby I would just do a one page with an introduction and then show videos one under the other with a simple introduction of what it is.

I had a website hosted by fatcow and I used their own software to build my page and pulled the videos from youtube. It was simple enough for me and it worked, but that was 4 years ago and things evolve, so thats why I ask the question

So my fellow sherdoggers what service/website would you recommend? and why?? Thanks, I appreciate your help!

I work for a small company and we use GoDaddy. With the exception of receiving orders for our website, our site is pretty basic in just being there to explain what our company does and being able to contact us. It does not get updated often and isn't near as complicated as others. With that said, I have no complains with GoDaddy.

We use GoDaddy as well, and it's pretty straight forward and simple, I agree. It's not overly flashy or any such the like, but much like yourself, it's purpose isn't to win any awards, rather, to provide fairly basic information for those in need.

It's been a good site for our purposes, and easy to run/maintain.
