What changed in the UFC that the glamour divisions went from being heavyweight and light heavyweight to 145 and 155?

For much of the 2000s, it was the big guys who fought in the most popular UFC divisions. Many of the biggest names in UFC history were heavyweights and light heavyweights. Now, it seems all the talent and star power is with the smaller weight classes, while the heavier divisions have some of the lowest talent and name value. What changed? Where did the talented big guys go?

Conor happened. Lower weight classes could never headline over a heavier one until conor. Conor headlined over Weidman vs Rockhold and Lalwer vs mcdonald.

Says the guy who made an account when Conor got popular.

LOL none of those are title fights, you'll notice Weidman rockhold and Macdonald vs Lawler are.
You are still objectively wrong, you said a lighter weight class never headlined over a heavier one until Conor. That's just factually incorrect.

You cant just change your argument because it was proven wrong.

Again, you are wrong man.

lmfao silva vs Griffen is not a title fight, based on the examples I gave and did not add retroactively, you'd grip the implication

Medium to smaller men have limited options to do other sports than men over 6 feet. Yeah sure there are sports that size isnt the end all be but majority of sports, size matters especially the 4 biggest sports in the US NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL

So naturally more medium to smaller sized men will turn to the sport that their size isnt the biggest determining factor of success.

Same thing in boxing. They deepest divisions are around 140 lbs to 175 lbs

Rocky is talking about lower weight classes' title fights headlining over heavier weight title fights. None of those co-mains in the posters are title fights.
That's not what he said. You are trying to change the argument when its factually incorrect. If he wanted to specify that there were never a Lighter weight class title fight over a heavier weight class title fight, then that's what he would have said. He just is objectively wrong and being willfully ignorant.

It was implied since every match he mentioned was a title fight.

Silva was literally the MW champion at the time and Griffin was one fight prior.

You are wrong man. You are only saying that because you became a bigger fan of the sport when Conor became more popular and its very obviously by your join date and incorrect information.

Lol I gave the examples of two title fights the implication was there you just have a social disorder.

MMA fighters started getting better.

You never said that until you got proven wrong. The only one with a social disorder is the guy with 30k posts clearly has no life outside the forums.

It was never implied. He said it after the fact when he was proven wrong. Quit being an ignorant bastard. You became a fan even later after the fact.
You're genuinely worrying me

You never said that until you got proven wrong.
Never had to bring it up until you completely wiffed it.
