Every time Khabib fights, almost everyone predicts a complete besmirching of his opponent. I expect the same predictions this time around, but does anyone think differently? Max has a clear advantage in the stand up and speed but that may not be enough. Does he avoid the TD and box Khabib up for the UD? Or tko him early? I dont know man this fight has my mind everywhere.

Khabib feels merciful and taps him or Khabib makes a statement and pounds his head in

It is what it is

Imo: there are 3
1. Max unloads on him right at the start, his standup is better and maybe gets a lucky finish
2. Khabib does what he did to a barboza and gets a brutal decision.
3. Max is able to stuff takedowns and come the 3-4 round his great cardio wears down khabib to get the decision/ tko

Khabib win either by submission or complete one sided beating of Max for 5 rounds while having him on the ground

Khabib by decision or TKO

Max by decision or TKO

Four most likely outcomes IMO.

Max doesn't have the power in his striking to keep from getting taken down and pounded out. Fights going to look pretty similar to Kabib vs Barboza, but Max won't make it to the bell. Khabib via submission or tko round 3.

Max is not fully recovered from injury...

Max gets executed like a lame horse.

Well, I just found out that Ferg vs Khabib is canceled because Ferg is injured.

And I really don't see how Max can beat Khabib, even if he has a very good distance control.

Khabib by decision.

Maybe in 2022 we shall see Ferg vs Khabib.

I reckon its gonna look exactly like the Barboza fight, but with a slight twist.
By the end of round 4, Khabib is gonna be exhausted, I can see him struggling to walk properly to his corner after 20mins of top-control dominance. Holloway will be soaked in blood, taunting and goading him at this point.....unfortunately, he'll be even more exhausted from the dominance and won't have the power in his strikes to finish Khabib in round 5. He'll have his moments in round 5 but will eventually get dragged to the mat and Khabib will sit in guard, knackered, til the bell.

49-45 Khabib.

I see this as being more competitive than everyone expects. Max is not Barboza. He's not smaller either. Barboza and Michael Johnson can both fight at featherweight.
