What are the odds of......

It's just the HW division isn't exactly stacked and if either guys wins 1 or 2 fights in 2014 then by the end of the year it could happen again

Why do you prime try to say the hw division isn't stacked?

Cain
Jds
Dc
Werdum
Barnett
Brown
Ao

That's a lot of guys that are just a win it two away from a shot.

Then you have

Nog
Mir
Nelson
Hunt
Bigfoot
Ect...

AO is one loss away from being cut

How many guys at HW have won there last 2-3 fights???

I'd say 20-25%. Not impossible but not probable. 2015 would be more likely. Just depends on how the fight plays out.

Elite HW's
Cain, JDS

Werdum & Barnett.

DC is leaving HW

I agree but if DC beats Roy and JDS beats Cain
do you think DC might stick around and ask for JDS?

I would want that but DC & Cain are BFF's. DC is gradually losing weight so he can drop down. Wether Cain wins or loses, DC is dropping down.

Damn shame because he'll have a better chance in a division where he's comfortable not cutting weight(HW) compared to needing to make the weight (LHW)

He's 36? And to cut down weight he hasn't cut in years, it's a very questionable decision.

It's obvious.

These two are miles ahead of all the other HWs, they will fight more than three times for sure, unless one of them gets fired, injured or retire.

Many HW UFC fighters are either close to retiring or a pink slip

He's still a hw. That makes at least 5 elite fighters. What other division has that many?

Lightweight - Pettis, Henderson, Melendez, Thompson, Grant
Welterweight - GSP, Condit, Hendricks, Rory Mac, Maia
Middleweight - Weidman, Anderson, Belfort, Jacare, Machida (soon)
Light Heavyweight - Jones, Gus, Davis, Cormier (soon), Texeira

depends, if JDS wins it's pretty much a lock

if JDS loses but makes it competitive then yes there can be a rematch if JDS goes on a good streak and the division is thin

You seem to have a pretty low bar for elite for these divisions.

Thompson, grant? No
Rory is unproven and so is maia at ww.
Throw it EVERYONE at mw other than chris and Anderson
And Anderson is on his way out.
Davis is elite now? Dc isn't even a lhw.

If these guys are elite then so are browne, ao, Bigfoot and nog

JDS and Cain will have to win 2-3 fights before another title shot as oppose to just 1 like last time. Werdum and Barnett/Browne are already next.

But you are the one that set the low bar since it was you who mentioned browne, bigfoot and nog (and overeem) first so by YOUR standards my list would be fine, that was the whole point.

Anderson Silva on his way out of being elite? you are a fool if you believe that
