For me I'd say Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In America

And Lawerence of Arabia...almost 4 hrs long. Saw it in theater in NYC awhile back.

Once Upon a Time in America uncut is actually worth the time.

I tapped out 20 minutes into The Irishman.

John "Oh Nay Nay" Pinette was a national treasure.

I remember The Thin Red Line kept going and going..... Seemed like it was over about three or four times.

Original Uncut Das Boot. 293 minutes. Almost 5 hours.

This is the thing. It is still pretty solid at 5 hours. I remember watching, it must have been the Directors cut of 3 hours with my dad and my brothers. It was on a school night but we stayed up until like 1 am. I was probably like 7 or 8 years old at the time. My dad is fluent in german and even though it had subtitles he spent time teaching us the meaning of the german phrases used in the movie. Even then, I thought the movie was pretty amazing. It started off as a miniseries and while shooting it, they were like hot damn this is way too good to not turn it into a movie. There's like 30 hours of footage for the film sitting around. It did pretty well globally for a german film. The undubbed version did much better in american theaters than the dubbed. I don't know when you are going to see an undubbed german or any foreign film for that matter do $200+ million at the box office again. Amelie got close I suppose. It is pretty unusually in portraying the germans in a more realistic fashion. There were die hards but most didn't respect high command or the goals of the war and just wanted to go home. Even the ending is deflating given the heroics carried out during the entire movie. It really is a good movie.

I did too until I had a 4 hour flight. It was still pretty boring even on a plane.

I often sit down and watch the three Lord of the Rings movies as one movie... and that's the extended dance mix version too boot.

It’s been well over ten years now that I have zero faith in internet buzz/hype.

When even a Scorcese film fails to deliver, I know the end is near.

Peter Jackson so vividly captured the realm of Middle Earth, I get lost in there. And the sound track is the spell that enchants you in.

Two of the most boring movies I have ever seen, as well.
