Mine was getting off of crystal meth. Had a 10 year run with it. Used to slam it everyday. Massive unhealthy porn addiction that went with it. Used to disappear for days at a time with my family frantically searching the streets and hotels for me trying to make sure I wasn't dead. Put them through absolute hell. I tried rehab multiple times and it never stuck. Finally I entered a year long psychosis where I heard voices coming to kill me every single day. Most terrifying experience of my life. I went to Spain to get electro-shock therapy which finally got rid of the voices and now I've got 6 months clean and will never go back to that shit. Share on sherbros.

Statistically speaking (and also specifically speaking based on your posts), you'll relapse.

nawe. I have ptsd from the meth psychosis. I associate meth with debilitating fear now. Just the thought of it gives me anxiety and makes me sick. But thanks for the vote of confidence.

lazy? I never stopped working. I'm former military, have a degree, and I spend my free time volunteering. Stop projecting you sad sad man.
Lol, you didn't "... entered a year long psychosis where I heard voices coming to kill me every single day" if you were able to continue working.

ok. besides that year. sue me for turning to drugs after being a medic with an infantry unit deploying to Iraq and coming back home as a shell of my former self.

Being profoundly ill-suited for the status quo and the resulting misanthropy and boredom that goes with it. It's an on-going thing.
