For Cowboy cerrone to break the record for most wins and most finishes in UFC history in his hometown against someone that his camp of his entire career chose to corner over him, and then have his baby boy and grandmother join him in the octagon after the beautiful armbar finish.

It doesn't get much better than that. I can only hope to experience someone a quarter as amazing as that in my lifetime.

Cowboy a legend.

You're right though. Champ or no champ Donald is a legend, someone all fighters should look up to. I'm extremely happy tonight was his night

Good guy but i think he went too hard on that armbar, not very gentleman. Karma got Perry now its out to get Cerrone....

It was a great night overall. The Cerrone moment was awesome, then we got to witness one of the greatest ballets of violence in 24 years/ 363 days of UFC history.

That couldn't have played out any better for the hardcore fans. Dana and the gang are lucky to have such warriors as we saw tonight.

risk losing it if you dont go hard, then potentially lose or get brutally knocked out = CTE

remember when Vitor decided to be a "good sportsman" with his armbar, and fucked himself out of being the man to dethrone Jones for the LHW belt?

Also, does it make me a terrible person that the whole time watching Cowboy hold his kid, I was thinking how horrendously terrible it would be if he dropped him?

He looked awesome. That reversal where he did like a firemans carry and threw him was awesome

He fucked and fucked up Perry's arm at the same time.

I was thinking this would be a terrible time for Perry to go all Khabib/Conor post-fight on Cowboy. lol
