Boxing appears to be picking up traction again especially with all the noise the Paul brothers have made recently. Is a UFC sponsored boxing organization still the plan for Dana White?

It's now a fitness organization to compete with Peloton rather than a promotion

There would be no exclusive contracts allowed like the UFC has.

They could leave and fight anywhere they wanted anytime they wanted for a bigger paycheque and bigger piece of the pie.

I don’t think this idea was ever meant to happen in any capacity.

The MMA fighters would be watching and be outraged.

Like if your boss started hiring people for a job similar to your own that paid 3X as much.

That article is five years old. Is the information still accurate?

Zuffa no longer owns the UFC.. so would this not just be another Fertitta/Dana venture.

Unsurprising considering boxers have better avenues for employment.

If you want to make money in MMA you either fight for the UFC or you get big enough to get a good contract from Bellator
