I feel he could hang with a few guys in the top 15, I’d make him vs Alexander Hernandez. Personally, I feel Gregor is better than him and deserves a fight in the top 15 to establish himself.

i think hernandez has better striking and good enough wrestling to stuff gregor's tds. i didn't watch the aubin mercier fight but i read he took down olivier like 7 times. oliviver is a big big lw with very good grappling so that's not easy to do. i don't like the guy tho, i'd be rooting for gregor.

Dude's a monster. Let him work his way up slowly, I see him cracking the top 15 next. Sick of UFC rushing every prospect, let them knock out a few more dudes on their way up, it'll only build the hype more.

So you've seen Hernandez fight for approximately 2 minutes yet have determined hes a better striker.

Also Gregor would grind OAM to dust

I feel like he could do a lot more than hang with the top 15. I actually think he's a nightmare matchup for a lot of guys including Khabib.

Hopefully a number next to his name, geez what's a man gotta do? I think he and Taisumov deserve rankings. Gillespie a little more due to Taisumov's inactivity, but both are highly skilled.

He is 5-0 in the UFC and 31 years old.

Bump him already. I say Pettis if he loses to Tony. Or James Vick.

Problem with LW is that the well established guys dont fight up and comers and the division is stacked. Most guys in the top 15 are competitive against eachother.

Agreed on vick. Vick got what he asked for in a top 10 and got mollywhopped. Now he needs to give the same opportunity to Gregor.

He takes a 3+ more fights, gets to 8+ and 0 in the UFC and is ready for a shot. He may be 31, but he's young in fight years (went pro 2014). I think challenging for the belt at 32 - 33 would be ideal for him. I think he could take out a few of the top 10 in 2019, then step up and take on a top 3 guy for a title shot.

I think Tony and Khabib getting a lot of experience before they challenged for a title was a big advantage for them.

Your saying Gregor is just another wrestler? Dude got heavy hands, very athletic and explosive, obviously his wrestling is awesome and he's showed a lot of improvement. Not saying he definitely beats Khabib but if I was to design a fighter to beat Khabib it would look a lot like Gregor.

I completely agree, I’m just trying not to get ahead of myself. I would love him vs James Vick or Paul Felder(who isn’t in the top 15 I believe, but is highly regarded.)

He still needs to improve his striking.

Bad matchup for a number of fighters. I think he beats Khabib as Khabib won't be able to take him down and Gregor has knockout power. Would be fun seeing him fight Gaethje. More realistically would be Vick or even Chiesa.

I like Gregor a lot but if there’s one weakness, it’s his size for 155. I’m sure he could make 145.

Yeah, I believe he has underrated boxing. That being said, there are great strikers at 155 and a lot of tough matchups. I wish more people knew about him. I tell my MMA friends to keep an eye out.
