Move back to 170?

If he stays at 185, who does he fight next? Jack Hermannson? Cannonier?

It won’t happen, but I’d want to see Khamzat fight Till at 170.

He'll never fight at 170 again, he struggles to make Middleweight..
He'll fight another ranked fighter at MW.

Watch the post fight press conference. He “didn’t” blame his knee three times. He also pointed out the fact he didn’t lose that fight, there were no losers.

After proclaiming he’s really the champ, and that knee stomps should be illegal, it’s just a matter of time before the belt is officially his.

So slow your roll on all that changing weight division nonsense.

Jack Hermansson makes sense.

I would think Whittaker will face Cannonier in a main event somewhere this year.

He looked good at 185. Yes he lost but the fight was very competitive and he did land the bigger strikes.

He's a top 5 MW right now. He should stay at 185.

He did not look good. Very hesitant to engage, showed poor counter-striking, simply retreated when Whitataker tried to engage. He did not land any combinations, failed to set up anything meaningful. He averaged a pitiful 10 stikes per round, despite needing a KO or 10-8 round in the 5th to win the fight. He landed a good elbow.....not much else for 25 minutes.

Till as usual too gun shy, doesn't let his hands go, to cautious and overrated.

When a fighters confidence is not 100% They become hesitant and can't perform at their best level. That confidence doesn't just come back over night. Its not always the most fan friendly but one thing that boxing does better for a fighters development is after a loss, its ok to take a tune up fight. Sometimes fighters need a tune up to do just that tune up and regain their full confidence. going into 50/50 fights is great for us fans to watch but for a fighter to grow and develop its not always the best approach long term when careers are at stake.

Gatekeeper. Very impressive as UFC gatekeepers could easily be champions in other organizations.
