Seems to me that since Werdum became champ, he's been more interested in showing off his "congenial personality" and trolling antics than training to be the best.

He came in fat for this fight, flab around his midsection, a far cry from how he looked a year ago against Cain.
All this while throwing a zillion troll faces at the camera. Doom has been more interested in looking stupid and acting stupid than he was training for his first title defense, and his hubris was his downfall.

In a way, I'm thankful because now I don't have to listen to all the nuthuggers saying Doom is the GOAT, something I never got behind.

Thank you for ending your hype train Dr. Doom, and thank you Miocic for providing the fisting.

It's such a shame, Werdum could have strung together a good championship defense run, although I did have Stipe winning this one.

You are under the illusion that he was training hard. I am of the opinion that he showed up out of shape. When you have flab that's jiggling with every movement you make than it's hard to think you have been taking training seriously.
