In NYC. It was on the squat, and was hosted by Michael Wolf (wolfstrength on Instagram) and Brent Carter. It was $200 and well worth it. It went over 4 hours long. I usually lift alone, so it was great to have someone critiquing me. I had a few bad habits that we worked on, so hopefully those get undone ASAP. There was a good lecture afterwards on programming and all around lifting, where a lot of good questions were answered. If there's ever one of these in your area, I highly recommend going.

Pricey, sure. But it was almost 5 hours. If my squat ends up being near perfect from it though then it seems worth it to me.

The one in Brooklyn, right?

I think I might attend the one in San Francisco so I can get the cert. Been reading Starting Strength and Practical Programming over and over again ad nauseum lately.

I hate the way Rippletoad teaches the squat in SS.

I recall it was something about leading with your hips with your face pointed downward while drinking milk?

I recommend going as well. Thanks to Rippetoe I have reached all of my strength goals.

que Rippetoe haters in 3........2........1......

For all the hate that the man gets, there's one fact that cannot be overlooked: dude and his SS Certified coaches get a lot of clients.

Fuck Crossfit.
Just saying.
Fuck Crossfit.

if youre looking to get paid, crossfit certs will get you much more clients than some Rippetoe diploma.

Right, and that's why most Crossfit boxes fail within the first 2-3 years. Not to mention, most Crossfit certified "instructors" have a reputation for having shit technique on the olympic lifts.

I didn't even know a Rippetoe cert was a thing.

Brutal how?

And CT Fletcher's certs are ridiculously over priced. I think its like 1500 or something like that for a side walk crackin mofugga

Apparently the course concludes with a pretty rough written exam that more than 50% of the class fails.

Because they can't read?

It's a CT Fletcher certification, so just guessing.

Let me guess, his bent over squat is the correct answer to everything non dietary milk related?
