They said he was suicidal. I wonder why his Weng's Sor.

Senior law enforcement sources identified the suspected driver as Weng Sor, a 62-year-old man with no prior arrests but a history of mental illness.

Two of the victims were listed in critical condition, two in serious condition and four suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY.

After Sor was taken into custody, following a 30-minute chase, he told the officers he “wanted to die,” sources said.

The maniac driver first hit at least one person riding a moped near Fifth Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway in Bay Ridge around 11 a.m. before speeding off as cops followed, according to police.

how truly bizarre. no criminal background, and then this?

it reminds me of that Walmart Manager who just "snapped" and lit up his co-workers.

the CTer in me makes me almost believe that these people are programmed to "snap."

then the therapist in me makes me believe that it was a host of "stressors" in their personal lives that caused this.

then the rapist in me makes me believe that it was a host of "stressors" in their personal lives that caused this.

hate to be that guy but what's the political angle here?
NYPD stated they will treat it as a terrorist act.

At least that is what was stated earlier today. That may change if they get motive.

you asked it while I was hoping to work my way into doing so haha

Sorry, I need to let more subtle actors work their magic around posts like this... I was just looking for the political angle and then I realized "Hey, that's a penis joke!" and couldn't help but break into a sensible chuckle.

What is political about this..?

Mods, can you send this thread to Mayberry where the real depression/suicidal experts can figure this out.

Old Asian men seem to have been going nuts in the US lately.

What have you guys been doing to them!?

you're in my top five.

He's actually an interesting one. Decent sense of humour, knows how to throw some tight rhetorical jabs and cut and run when it's not worth the effort, and weighs in seriously from time to time. If you're looking at posters as performers, he's a solid best supporting actor nomination.
