So, he will basically cut no weight, maybe 5 pounds. We will see him with full cardio and strenght. Will he have more snap and KO power in his punches? Will he look faster for avoiding the stress of cutting or slower for being not worrying about dieting?

I would imagine Conor's not worrying about dieting is very different to most peoples not worrying about dieting.

Although someone did say they seen him get a chicken fillet roll last week in Galway haha.

yeah but he's fighting a big, tall LW who has shown to be tough to beat at 170 (Dong is huge and a perennial top WW and same with Rory Mac. and both couldn't finish Nate). Fighting at 170 will also allow Nate to intake calories, come in heavy and focused on training and not the cut.

Conor will absolutely be all those things you mentioned OP. Cutting weight is so stupid, everybody does it so nobody gets an advantage from it but if you don't do it you're dwarfed. More fights like this where the guys don't have to cut are just going to make way better fights.

This is correct and the way it should be.

Every single fighter should be forced to move up one weight class. Same competition, just less weight cutting. Yeah, I know this only works in fantasy land, but one can dream.

I'd love to see him skip straight to Rockhold. That would be a funny exhibition.
