Well, when I break down the top 25 welfare rat cities, by red or blue state, I get 12 blue cities, 12 red, and 1 purple(NJ).

If poverty can be solved by boot strap picker-upperering, then why isn't this list all blue?

Perhaps though, instead of partisanship, we should be asking why 1 in 5 people throughout the country, are on food stamps.
I'm pretty sure all those cities are blue. Does a red city even exist?

They’re purple. Both sides are guilty in this type of lifestyle. It is generational, with parents teaching their kids to do the same shit. I have seen and heard people that believe it is their right not to work and get paid to simply exist and procreate.

Bekely wv has a very serious heroin problem, as does the rest of the state. The city used to be nice, as was Huntington, which has three to four overdoses every day.

That's too bad. I hope they get that turned around.

I can't find anything on Beckley, WV voters. But the state of WV has almost 43 percent of it's registered voters are registered Democrat. So most WV registered voters are blue and not red. And Beckley will be even more blue than the rest of the state.

Wtf is going on in El Centro CA, with 15.8% unemployment?
Have you ever been to El Centro? For some reason a decent amount of people congregated there and there's absolutely nothing there. People either work on a farm or for the government.

It would be very curious to know which states take more from the federal government than they pay in taxes. You know, states that don't have their acts together. If a state wants to have a low bar for safety net programs, that is their peragotive.

What is a rural city?

What is a moron who tries to pull together a list of small cities that most wouldn't recognize to try to prove a point?

The ironic thing about the list posted earlier of top states supporting people with assistance is that with the exception of NM, they are all states people want to live in.
