What are positives of weight cutting and how game would change if weight cutting was illegal?
You are harder to take down
You hit harder
You are stronger physicaly
You focus on something else than training
You lose a bit of speed
You lose a bit of cardio
You lose a bit of your chin
I am really not sure about the you lose your chin and hit harder part because we saw fighter having a better chin and power moving up but also the same moving down
I don't think you can make it illegal
Peoples will always cheat look at one fc.
Positives of weight cutting = 0
Everyone hated it until Conor stopped doing it, and then natty weight became a sign of 'cowardice'. If Conor starts cutting to 45 again, everyone will want it banned again.
It has a detrimental affect on the body later in life. Should have never been allowed.
weight cutting may help with cardio in some cases.
McGregor for example I feel has a better gas tank at 155 and 145 than at 170.
I think this is down to how he cuts weight like running and cycling.
The one who cuts the most without cutting too much will have the advantage.
If I was a fighter I'd just cut a certain amount that didn't cross the line in terms of health or struggle, and just accept that I'm slightly smaller than my opponent and focus on other things I can use to my advantage.
UFC needs to get rid of weight classes. Then weight cutting will be gone.
I support weight cutting. My jeans don't fit and I cant see my dick
I think weight cutting should be allowed until it causes you to pull out of fights
And you're basing that on what?
The only time he's gone 5 rounds he was at 170.
None of your pros and cons make any sense.
he went 3 rounds with holloway on an injured knee. And went 4 with khabib smothering him. He also went 9 rounds with Mayweather at 153.
Separate names with a comma.
