man, the belief you guys have in this Chris Weidman is amazing
one thing you guys have to consider, is the way the fighter wins his fights weights into Dana's decision to give him a title shot earlier or later
You guys should stop mentioning his win against Demian Maia... It was not one bit impressive, it was the worst showing of Maia's career, they both got exhausted in the early minutes of the fight, it was a ridiculous showing from both fighters, but Weidman has at least a good reason for being so unfit, so he gets a pass...
However, that doesn't mean he really has beaten a strong opponent in that situation, maybe if he'd fight Maia again, it would be a good fight now, but in that situation, it wasn't a big plus for Weidman and it was a big knock to Maia.
