According to espn Weidman had to receive an additional thumb surgery after rehabilitation didn't go well. He's been out since defeating Kelvin gastelum at UFC Long Island since the end of July. Additional surgery adds another 2-3 months to recovery time. Looking like we won't see "my boy" till the end of the year. Was looking forward to him coming back soon....
