Which beautifully timed elbow between these guys do you prefer?

Weidman's elbow and slip followed up by huge ground and pound on Mark Munoz that got him the title shot against Anderson Silva?
or
Ortega's intercepting elbow that leads to a huge uppercut that finished Frankie and seemingly guarantees him a future title shot?

Weidman plus it had more power since they were 200+ lbs fighters.

Ortega looked huge and just clobbered the smaller older guy. :p

The Weidman elbow was so swift and smooth as to appear effortless

Isn't Munoz older than Whiteman? :D

He is but I never saw him making the lower weight class.

Frankie legit looked like he could be a 135'er while Ortega a 155'er and this age thing appears to be way different in the lower weight classes it's a huge detriment here then say them heavies, it's all about that speed.

I don't know did not expect that outcome at all.

Vega :p isn't actually that tall, but he is built like a stud.

For what it's worth Ortega's elbow was done on a MUCH better, MUCH more accomplished fighter.

I don't think anyone saw Ortega winning by KO especially not in such a vicious fashion.

If someone can post Mike Perry Elbow in Jake Ellenberger that one was deadly too. Otherwise Weidman elbow wins IMO

Yeah, Ortega wins just based on the level of competition.

Also factoring in Frankie had never been finished even fighting people like Pennx3, Aldox2, Cub, Stephens, Ben Henderson x2, Mendes, Faber, Yair, Maynard, etc.

Jones' bitch slap elbow

Ortega if we're going to how impressive it was based off things like level of competition. Frankie >>>>>>>>> Munoz and had never been finished prior even through a few major scares.

But if we're talking about in a vacuum where those things aren't factored in and just going off face value, I'd say Weidman.

People have pretty much already said this, but the Weidman elbow was prettier but the Ortega elbow was landed on the far superior fighter.

weidmans but he hasnt done any since then so eh. ortegas demon uppercut was awesome though

I like Dan Henderson's head kick, lawn mower elbow, falcon elbow combo he did on Lombard
