Indeed he looks slimmer, but it is sorta of like Vannata slim rather than wrestling tight muscles..In interviews he is speaking about going out there flowing, giving more credence to the theory he has changed his way of fighting.

I agree this is a great match up, I think it's going to come down to striking and Weidman's volume boxing vs Jacare's low output bigger strikes.

This is such an absurd argument every time I see it.

Weidman started losing when his competition went up. I am 100% confident he can beat Silva, old Machida and old Belfort again right now if you shuffle out those old farts.

Romero likely beats every middleweight of all time, at any time. Luke beats almost every middleweight of all time, at any time. The Chris fought truly elite competition.
 
Jacare is still dangerous but his age is starting to show.

His weigh in pics before and after USADA are virtually identical Joe. The IV ban likely sapped some of his game on fight night. He still tends to own first rounds

hes 1-3 in his last 4 fights, with his 3 loses being devastating k.o's. Him being on the cusp of a title shot is just embarrassing
 
Jacare has lost his edge with age, so while he could win i dont expect him to. Its a big fight and im sure cw is ready to go.

I dont get the crazy Weidman hate on here, maybe its the legions of extremely pissed Anderson fans. He achieved the impossible, dethroned the ufc goat.....Twice. No fluke at all. Smashed TRT Belfort, Dominated Machida when he was good, One of the best counter elbows on Munoz in MMA, great KO of Uriah. His three loses weren't like he didn't have a dog in the fight. Was even or just ahead of Luke before the retard kick, if someone said he was losing before the kick then fair enough but it wasn't a one sided fight, he was beating Romero until that amazing knee, and the Moose loss was just shit as. He was winning then Moose came back and as Chael said it was an illegal knee because when he threw it, Chris had 3 points of contact. When it lands its ok. Very bad rule because here is the massive grey area.

This fight will tell if Weidman can be champ again. If he really beats the shit out of Jacare then he very well could beat winner Whittaker/Kelvin. Ah man I want Jacare to stay top tier as well. Respect to both dudes.

I will preemptively assume you're referring to the ref fuckup. I didn't know the ref fucking up was considered cheating.
