Weidman Fans' favorite MMAth hopefully will die tonight, RIP...

Would like to hear your opinions, Cowboy/ Weidman/ Silva fans or haters!

Everyone knows that nothing is guaranteed in MMA...but if A beats B convincingly twice, it makes a re-match hard to sell to those people who aren't heavily invested in the loser.

Why do you guys want to see him fight Weidman again?
My god he got killed in the first fight, was flash KO'd he second fight before the leg break and most likely loses badly again.
Anderson is not getting better at this point of his career, Chris is.

lol, MMAth. The TS is grasping at straws. Weidman FINISHED him twice. That's not MMAth, it's a fact. Some Silva fans just will never accept the result and need Silva to get raped and raped by Weidman until somehow, someway he wins.

"Donald Cerone will beat Benson Henderson tonight, proving that chris weidman isn't better than anderson silva"

No, Grasshoper.

Donald Cerrone did beat Bensoh Henderson tonight, proving that 2 consecutive wins doesn't guarantee the third one.

Weidman x Silva III, if it does happen, isn't 100% defined for Weidman.

And more sarcams won't help you, opportunist.

From a logical point of view, the ONLY point of making this thread is BEFORE a 3rd fight between two fighters happening:

If 2 previous wins for fighter "A" absolutely determines that he will win again, as many claim here, why not bet your house on him (Henderson, in this case)?

- Because when you're talking about CONCRETE things, it's more difficult to be so bold.
Nobody here is seriously SURE that the Cowboy will lose. After all, this fight is actually happening. Soon.

It's so easy to write that Weidman would CERTAINLY beat Silva in their third match BECAUSE he already won 2 times, considering that this fight may never occur.
You're writing something that Statistics don't support and probably will never have the chance to be proved wrong.

Fighting analysis is COMPLEX, and for me the "2 wins" argument ALONE is very poor.
Write about Weidmans strengths and Silva's weaknesses, and you surely have your points.
Write that Weidman would win a 3rd match just because he already won twice and I'll call you an opportunist.

It's easy to defend your "certainties" based on things that have already happened and on outcomes that you already know; or based on matches that will probably never happen.

First off no one says 'absolutely' when talking about the fight game except tards.

that said do you think we need Anderson/Sonnen3 and Anderson/Franklin3 since the outcome is not an 'absolute'?

And as 'complex' as fight analysis is, you need more than the argument that 'if we keep letting guys fight an infinite amount of times, the other guy might eventually win one', which is basically what you are saying. Sure the result could change but Weidman won two clear and decisive fights with devastating finishes in both. He should not have to fight Anderson again unless Anderson wins his way back up by pummeling all other contenders (like JDS is having to do), leaving no one else.

It so funny that you think you actually made a meaningful post there. That you think Cerrone is the first example of someone coming back to win a 3rd fight after 2 prior losses. Like we are all sitting around going 'ZOMG how is it possible he won the 3rd fight after losing 1 & 2...quick book Anderson/Sonnen3 and Anderson/Franklin3 as we have to know'.

You made a silly non-point and we laughed at you when you did. Now you are bumping it as you think it was the premise of a fighter winning the 3rd fight that we were laughing at. And it was not. We were laughing at you for thinking you were saying something meaningful, which you were not.

What an awesome picture

I don't think Anderson fans will ever get over his brutal losses to The Chris
