If any of my numbers are wrong let me know.. I counted the wins kinda fast.

This is the way I ranked them. With title wins being most important and being the pinnacle of MMA fighting.. All though I didnt consider the rankings of all the opponents the lower ranked fighters without title wins faced which you could pose an arguement for.... Like say if Faber faced more top 5 or 10 opponents then Benavidez did etc...

tie 1. Demetrius Johnson (7 UFC Flyweight title defenses)
tie 1. Jose Aldo (7 UFC FW title defenses)
2. Dominic Cruz (4 UFC BW title defenses)
3. Benson Henderson (3 UFC LW title defenses)
4. . Anthony Pettis (UFC LW champ 1 title defense with 5 UFC victories)
5. Johny Hendricks (UFC WW champion 0 defenses but 12 UFC victories)
6. Carlos Condit(UFC interim WW champion)..could switch him with Hendricks or Pettis but he was only interim
7. Nate Diaz (Ultimate fighter winner 14 UFC victories)
8. Donald Cerrone (16 UFC victories)
9. Joseph Benavidez (11 UFC victories)
10. Urijah Faber-(9 UFC victories)

next two closest
11. Chad Menders (8 UFC victories)
12. Porier
Dustin Porier has 11 ufc victories but Chad, Urijah and Benavidez had title fights sooo.. I was conflicted

Shout out to Glover Teixeira who has had a stellar career after his 3 WEC wins. Most of them in what I view as lower tier organizations though. Still. Love me some Glover

Best Fight Commentator= Brain Stann :)

I'd have Cerrone over Diaz, but that list is pretty spot on

Top3 is easy(Aldo,DJ,Cruz), its hard to rank after that

I honestly had no idea that the Diaz Bros and Hendricks had fought in the WEC.

What about Miguel Torres? He was the sh** at BW before Bowles beat him. He belongs up there imo. And yeah, Aldo, Cruz, DJ at the top.

This is about careers after the WEC. Torres is easily a top 5 BW of all time, but since the WEC he's done nothing

Im not sure when they started televising the WEC fights on versus but.. I think it was like literally right after Nates last WEC fight. For some reason I feel like I remember watching the Wineland vs Banuelos fight and Nate was on the same card... But maybe not

Mighty Mouse
Ben Henderson
Jose Aldo
Johny Hendricks
Dominick Cruz
Anthony Pettis
Carlos Condit
Nate Diaz
Donald Cerrone
Urijah Faber

Why Ben Henderson above Aldo and Cruz if I may ask?

There was a time when I enjoyed WEC more than I did The UFC.

Big wins at welterweight plus holding the title.

Aldo's career post WEC has been impressive but he's had subpar performances and hasnt really looked the same. Taking some fights at lightweight would definitely do him some good.

Cruz's career has been a troubled one due to those damned injuries keeping him out for so long.

If the metric is strictly their careers after the WEC, Benson has done some pretty incredible things.

I could be forgetting a fighter or two also. I always wished Scott Jorgensen would had had more success. I like Brad Pickett as well

He was definitely WEC star .
I watched his last few fights and it does not feel like you're watching the same guy.

i hear ya. Obviously you can rank em any way you want. I was just using UFC title victories as being worth more points than a normal victory.

Good call on Pickett.
