EliteXC and Afflication both have more exposure.

UFC and WEC share fighters and co-promote with each other

Neither Elite XC, Affliction, DREAM, etc. co-promote or share fighters with Zuffa

They each belong in their own seperate forum, but maybe "Heavyweight" should be removed from the forum description so as to not imply the superiority of one product over another

I think we have to wait until EliteXC pulls off their upcoming show and succeeds on par with UFC before WEC gets promoted. Right now, WEC is another Zuffa promotion... We all know what that means. Affliction has not had a show yet. Not a heavyweight either.

Give it time, young one. Give it time.

WEC is owned by Zuffa. Let's see how EXC does on CBS. Affliction hasn't even run a show yet, so let's hold off on that one.

They need to just name this place the Zuffa forum. Or better yet, the kiddie pool.

All the real MMA fans spend most of their time in Contenders.

    TS, STFU you clueless Git.

WEC has the number 1 ranked fighters in two weight classes.

    1. Faber
    2. Mexican guy with the Mullet

Elite is close to banruptcy. Afflction cannot have 4 Million Payrolls for their PPV and stay in the MMA business.

lol. For everyone who doesn't venture into HW's very often, please observe this quoted HW poster. You almost have to admire them for their sheer lack of knowledge and chip on their shoulder like attitude. The term STFU followed by an exclamation point then some variation of calling their opponent a homosexual is an often used phrase by a HW poster.

According to Sherdog, WEC still has more top 10 fighters under contract than both Affliction and EliteXC combined. Affliction hasn't even put on a show yet, we don't know if they have staying power. EliteXC is up for debate considering their CBS deal, but there are still rumors of unstability. And with talent like Kimbo versus James Thompson headlining their next event, it doesn't look as legit as the WEC's next event, for instance, headlined by Faber/Pulver, Torres/Maeda and Curran/Brown.

Elite is headlined by a protected Heavyweight that might have trouble with James Thompson and Affliction hasn't even had a single show yet.

It should really be UFC and EliteXC in the HW's. Both orgs seem to be the most popular and tend to care more about being entertainment than an actual sport.

How is Kimbo headlining EliteXC main events any different than Brock Lesnar headlining main events? EliteXC and UFC are more alike than some of us would care to admit. Both put entertainment ala pro wrestling before sport and competition.
