i for one am shocked that so many fighters from 10 short years ago aren't around anymore. Shocked and amazed.

Dude, the WEC was absorbed 10 years ago. Almost no athlete from 10 years ago is still at the top of their game. Besides, age catches up to smaller fighters more quickly than the heavier weights.

Dude, exactly. What the heck is the TS thinking? It was TEN years ago. Jeezus. It's more shocking that anyone is still around.

A far better measure is how they did when they came over, and you had Ben Henderson winning the title, Anthony Pettis as well. Then Carlos Condit winning an interim title. Sonnen, Ceronne and Brian Stann had solid careers as well. That's not mentioning Aldo, Faber, Cruz, Mighty Mouse, Benavidez who obviously topped their divisions since those divisions just transferred over in their entirety.
