Media Weasel MMA on Poatan's destructive left hook and why is it so deadly

Just thought about Hills left hook. It may not be as feared as Poatans left hook but it’s world class. Fucked up Glover, OSP, Walker and Santos with it. Absolutely destroyed Crute with it. Dropped a bunch of guys on the regional scene with it.

This is one of the reasons i wanna see this fight. Usually the one who is great at throwing the left hook is great at defending it.

This guy's opinion holds as much weight as any of ours, to each their own I guess. Him and the MMA Guru are on the same plain. At least the Guru can be funny sometime though. I got to give it to him, this right here is hilarious.

Poatan's left hook is as deadly as prime cro cops left high kick. You know it's coming but you still fall for the setup.

Well, they didn't fall for it in the UFC, which begs the question: was Cro Cops left high kick overrated?

Perhaps theres a bit of truth in that but I think it ultimately comes down to the high kick being easier to evade when you can watch footage and game plan for it by circling left.

Poatan doesn't have to post a leg to strike , he can leap into his left hook and has a bigger window of impact.

They said the same thing about Conor's left hook...

Fact is... this is MMA... anybody can get it.

ANYBODY

Including Poatan... he isn't invincible.

I wanna see Hill vs Poatan waaay much more than Ank, Jiri, or Smith

Hills hands are indeed accurate and this fight would be a banger till one fell.

What makes his great is the fact that he can destroy ppl throwing it moving backwards and forwards. It’s very hard to generate power in a left hook moving forwards.

Guru is based and has good takes. He gets it wrong here and there though.
