We still have no idea how Conor vs. Aldo will go

I was hoping that the Conor vs Chad fight would give us some indication of what might happen in the Aldo fight.

The only thing the Chad fight told us was that Conor can be taken down by a great wrestler and he is durable.

We still have no idea:
1. How Conor would do if he had a very good bjj guy like Aldo on top of him
2. How Conor would do against a very elite striker, particularly one with great leg kicks.

If Aldo takes Conor down, mounts him, and TKO's him or submits him, it shouldn't really be too surprising.

Can't wait for this fight.. Top 5 matchups of all time IMO

Round 2 - more kicks by Aldo - Conor has changed his stance...is fighting more and more defensively....
Round 3....Conor is limping....keeps backing away from Aldo.....
Round 4 is more of the same....suddenly Aldo throws a headkick....Conor is down and out...

i know, im just saying there could be a high chance that aldo (a very good grappler) could view the mendes fight and see how conor didn't do all that much on the ground and aldo could try and exploit that (im not saying it will work, however, i see it as a smart strategy by aldo)

the last time i can remember a fight like this where no one really knew what was going to happen and yet most of the vocal majority were absolutely 100% sure they knew who would win - and half of them were wrong - was Lesnar v Overeem.

and half of them were wrong.

but the Lesnar fans have forgotten how they acted; how sure they were and how much talking they did. only the Overeem fans remember and brag today. but both sides were equally bad prior to the fight, and equally sure of themselves.

I agree the fight is probably gonna play out differently than most people think, seems like that's always the way it is with big match-ups like this.

I'm curious to see how Aldo reacts to Conor's pressure and if Conor can keep
it up with an accurate striker like Aldo, who also moves well.
