I didn't laugh then and I'm not laughing at Conor now. I don't hold it against guys who pass on taking a fight at the last minute at such a high level and in reality you shouldn't have expected either guy to jump in there, especially Conor. You're right about the logical consistency though, the main reason why some of the more rabid Conor fan boys were dunking on Aldo for not stepping in that fight was that he had said something in an interview that he would fight Conor anytime anywhere or whatever. So in this situation I guess it's almost the same thing with "stay ready". But you can't expect consistency from nuthuggers or haters.
