Apparently, Jose Sulaiman is suspending two Mexican fighters for fighting in Arizona after SB 1070 passed.

Fight in Arizona is outside ring because of immigration law

I personally think this is a bunch of bullshit. I'm not a big fan of the immigration law myself, but to suspend boxers because they chose to fight in that state is asinine.

Help me out a little bit with this. I read the article and can't tell if it was the WBC boycotting AZ and didn't want it fighters fighting there or was it AZ telling them they couldn't hold the card there cause they were illegal fighters fighting on it.

So, it's the WBC not wanting it fighters to fight in AZ. That's dumb to punish they own fighters cause their own politics. Unless they are going to pay thier fighters to sit out or help the secure fight in the other state, they should allow their fighters to make their money.
